I began programming in BASIC on our family’s IBM in 1995 and quickly fell in love with development. Exploring multiple languages fueled my passion for learning, and coding soon became a daily pursuit—driven by the endless opportunities to build and grow.
I first pursued a degree in Printmaking and Illustration, building a strong foundation in digital and traditional art & design. After illustration I studied Computer Science and Databases, blending artistic thinking with technical expertise—an approach that still shapes how I design and develop today.
I gained senior-level experience across diverse systems, languages, and frameworks, earning multiple Microsoft Certifications and becoming an active member of the British Computer Society (BCS) to continue advancing my skills.
ransitioned into contracting to broaden my experience, working on a diverse range of projects that strengthened both my development skills and creative approach to design.
I'm currently building white-label templates for Magento 2 and WordPress, helping keep my design and development skills sharp and up to date. I'm also working on a new custom font, with updates and previews coming soon to my blog.
The robot character started as an illustration project that my son and I expanded into a 3D build in Unreal Engine 5. It’s inspired by a model I made as a child, which sparked a lifelong love for retro robots and obscure sci-fi—a passion that now weaves its way through my portfolio and creative projects.
